5 Tips to Work/Life Balance



1.  Determine What's Most Important To You In Life

a.     Create a set of Core Values. True Voice
b.    Create a personal Mission Statement
c.     Create your Dreams, goals and visit them daily
d.    Prioritize your day.
e.    Write down your intentions
f.      Comfort Challenge:
  • If you only had 2 hours a day to make the money that you currently make, what would you do in those 2 hours?
2.  Drop the Habits and Affirmation That Do Not Benefit Your Purpose

a.       Document where you’re spending your time and money and you will recognize what you value.
b.      Drop unnecessary activities.
c.        Are you aware of what your little voice is telling you? Little Secrets

3.  Protect Your Private Time

a.     If you don't have integrity with yourself, eventually, you’ll not have it anywhere else.
b.    How and who keeps you accountable to your personal/professional growth?
c.     Comfort Challenge:
  • Take on Meditation 3 days a week.
  • For one day, when asked to do something, decline in a respectful manner. Be sure to be direct, clear, and do not fall into accepting the request after you declined.
4.  Accept Help to Balance Your Life

a.     "Life is a two way road" Allow people to do things for you and develop trust in others.
b.    Stop assuming that your partner or people in your life can read your mind. Understand your valued interest and express them in a clear, respectful and loving way.
c.     Comfort Challenge:
  •  Make a list (5 to 10+) of things (small or big) that need to be done and request people in your life to help.
5.  Plan Fun and Relaxation

a.     You make time for everything else, why not this?
b.    Put it on your schedule
c.     Exercising is relaxing and fun, too
